Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Budapest! Upon arrival at Budapest Airport/Budapest Train Station meet your car and transfer to the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of day at leisure. Overnight Budapest.
Day 2: Budapest Sightseeing
After breakfast, start exploring Hungary’s capital city in a relaxing way with a hop on hop off tour bus. Hop on and off as many times as you wish and be astonished by the panoramic views of on both sides of the Danube. Enjoy the view of the Gothic Revival façade of the Hungarian Parliament Building or the Buda Castle from our open-top buses. Explore the Citadel and Jewish Synagogue, and be astonished by the panoramic views of the imperial city. Hop off at the Jewish Museum and Synagogue on Dohány Street, or stay on the bus and enjoy an audio guide full of interesting facts. Overnight Budapest.
Day 3 : Royal Palace of Godollo
After breakfast, get ready for a Half Day Tour to the beautiful Baroque Palace in Gödöllő, the former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sisi) and Francis Joseph (Habsburg Emperor & Hungarian King 1867-1916). Enjoy an interior visit of the Gödöllő Palace that will give you a glimpse of times under the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Become acquainted with the secrets of the private life, the hidden doors, rooms and lovers of the royal couple. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays*, after visiting the palace, you will be taken to a traditional Farm and welcomed with Hungarian "pogácsa" and the national welcome drink, "pálinka". Enjoy a carriage ride and a traditional Horse Show. The most unique part of the show is the so called "Puszta five formation" when a horseman is standing and balancing on two horses and conducting three more in front of him. After the show, the tour returns to Budapest city centre.
Day 4 : Budapest – Prague
Extend your stay or take your private transfer to the train station for your train journey to Prague. Meet your driver at the station in Prague and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Overnight Prague.
Day 5 : Prague
After breakfast, join a City Sightseeing Hop on/off tour. The pass is valid for 24 hours to allow you to explore the city and hop off on any of the stops. Enjoy a walk around the Old town, with its well- preserved 13th century houses and churches, and home of the famous Astronomical Clock. And if you are up for some upmarket shopping, stroll along Paris Street which is lined with shops selling designer wares, houses and trees. Take the bus tour to Lesser Town and marvel at the magnificent St. Nicholas Church located in the centre of the square. Surrounding the church are restaurants, charming pubs and shops and a multitude of international embassies housed in Baroque buildings. Overnight Prague.
Day 6 : Prague
After breakfast, be ready for your guided Old Town & Jewish Prague Walking tour (does not operate on Saturdays). See Old Town Square and the surrounding crooked streets and small shops. Go through the former Jewish Ghetto around the synagogue and the old Jewish cemetery. Continue through Ungelt and see the St. Jacob’s Church. Walk through Celetna St to the Powder Tower where your tour ends. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Prague.
Day 7 : Departure
Extend your stay or take your private transfer to the airport/station for your onward journey.
